About Us

The Regional Center for Food & Feed (RCFF) was established in 1980 under the name of Central Laboratory for Food & Feed (CLFF) with the cooperation of the government of Denmark under the authority of the Egyptian Agricultural Organization within the Ministry of Agriculture.
In 1985 The Regional Center for Food & Feed became part of Agricultural Research Center as recommended by his Excellency Prof. Dr. Youssef Wally, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
RCFF, is officially responsible for the quality control of both manufactured and imported feed ingredients.
In addition, RCFF, shares in conducting the research plan for the development of food and nutrition for both human and animals.
RCFF started to be involved in proficiency tests with BIPEA in France , FAPAS in UK and GIPSA in USA since 2002.
The ISO IEC 17025 accreditation has been renewed uptill now
