The Agricultural Research Station – Sabahia-(Sugar Crops Station) began in 1970. The Agricultural Research Station Is located in Alexandria governorate. At this station, trials of sugarcane breeding under natural conditions are carried out as the sugar cane and research work in sugar beet, sweet sorghum and natural sweeteners ( Stevia ).Main
Research work at this station induce the flowering of sugar crops under local conditions- and then to improving cultural practices, plant protection , physiological ,technological , biochemical and biotechnology studies.
