Mahalet Mousa Animal Production Research Station was established in 1934, to department of livestock production. Later, the station subordination was transferred to Animal Production Research Institute,
Agricultural Research Center. The station has braces; turkey branch, sheep branch and buffalo branch. The latter branch is repesented is represented in three locations of the station, and in abuffalo-rearing bulbs.
